SEWER SCOPE
The condition of the drain connecting the house to the municipal sewer is the responsibility of the home owner. Sending a camera down this drain is the only way to determine the condition. There are multiple issues that can effect the sewer drains, and the repairs are costly.

THERMAL IMAGING
In order to inspect hidden issues, we offer Thermal Imaging Inspections which can identify issues hidden behind walls such as moisture and or hazardous electrical systems, along with home energy efficiency in relation to insulation gaps. While there is no guarantee that nothing will be missed during the visual inspection.  Thermal imaging brings me one step closer to identifying additional issues that cannot be seen with the visual inspection.

RADON GAS TESTING
The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. Radon exists everywhere but is particularly prevalent in some areas of the northeastern United States, where basements will sometimes become filled with the gas. Levels may become particularly toxic in the winter, when the house is sealed against the cold. To avoid radon exposure, it is very easy to have a house tested and to install extraction systems to stop levels of the gas from rising in the basement or elsewhere. Nearly one out of every 15 homes has a radon level the EPA considers to be elevated: 4.0 pCi/L or greater. The U.S. average radon-in-air level in single family homes is 1.3 pCi/L. Because most people spend as much as 90 percent of their time indoors, indoor exposure to radon is an important concern.

WELL AND SEPTIC INSPECTIONS (outside of Macomb County)
On site sewage disposal or septic systems can be one of the most costly systems to repair. Having Done Right Inspections evaluate the septic tank and field is a must when purchasing a new home. The private drinking water source or well, needs to be tested to ensure the mechanics for pumping the water or functioning correctly and to ensure the water is safe to drink.
